"Ready, set, go" is a common idiom used to signal the start of a race or any other activity where participants need to begin simultaneously. In the UK, the phrase is sometimes said as "Ready, steady, go!".

My son was a backbench member of the track and field team when he was in university. Upon graduation, he brought home a framed photo of himself dressed in the team uniform with a big card full of warm and funny words from his team mates.
One team mate said: "When you came to a race late and said you just ate 2lbs of lamb. You ain't ready to run but to roll."

Joking aside, I'm in "ready, set, go" mode myself: hubby & I left home post via red-eye flight to EST zone & hometown of Leonard Cohen yesterday, and will fly to the other side of the Atlantic ocean in a couple of days. After that, I may need to host APAD at irregular days pending on travel schedule and data accessibility, but will try to say hello each day at odd times from Deutschland and Scandinavia.
TC & Cheers!
