Sexual urge, as part of ones animal instinct, is addressed mainly through positives. It is not stimulated by pain or failure, as in the case of physical preservation, but is built on an accumulative, default tendency towards certain highly desirable mental and physical state, which is regarded, in general, as pleasure.
Parental mandate is a default design that induces matured individuals to support their biological offsprings. As an exception to the principle of self-interest, parental mandate confuses the interest of ones offsprings to that of his/her own. It causes one to set the needs of his/her child above that of his/her own.
Parental mandate,as an embedded default, is as fundamental as the principle of self-interest. Most of the non-selfish feelings of human mind are secondary derivations of this mandate.
