I ran into a funny picture (see below) of the difference between brains of dogs and cats, so went on searching for a related proverb. The phrase "rain cats and dogs" won't do, as it has nothing to do with the brains. Then I found this proverb. It's funny, as I never see a cat fighting with a dog in my life. How could they fight with such different mindset and mind-space?
But I think the picture is not fair to (or "on" or "for") cats. Cats can be a bit bossier and may not be as smart nor as passionate as dogs, but they do possess much more than just eat, sleep and kill. eg. Maowi the 13.5 yrs old cat comes and plays with us every and each day, and whenever after I hold him, he will run around the house like a horse to show his happiness, he even wiped my tears away once with his hairy hand. I think those will be the memory I remember him by when he is gone, not his 3am wakeup calls nor nagging for food/litter box cleaning. So I changed the picture and made a special one for him. ;-)
