APAD: Life is a journey, not a destination

The quote "Life is a journey not a destination" is often attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, although there is some debate about its origin.

The meaning of this statement is that the value of life lies in the experiences, development, learning and growth that occur along the way, and the importance of enjoying and cherish the process of living, including its ups and downs, rather than focusing solely on achieving a particular end result. It is also a variation of “the path is the goal.”

For all of us who went through higher education, we went through endless books and exams, and obtained one or mutilple degrees.  But when we started our career, often it was the process and method of how to learn and aqcuire new knowledge - learned and used at shcool - that helped us more than the actual details we learned at the end in school, at the least that was how I felt.
