APAD: There is no fool like an old fool

Meaning: The foolish behavior of an older person seems especially so as they are

expected to think and act more sensibly than a younger person.

Most older people I know are wise.

Their advice I follow without thinking twice.

Many reached their age by making mistakes,

Those that force one to grow after what it takes.

They won't live forever but them being there alone would suffice.
