從簡單開始，少即是多！共同學習，共同進步！

1.Monica: Now I'm guessing that he bought her the big pipe organ, and she's really not happy about it.

譯文：我猜他送她一台管風琴，她肯定不喜歡，

解析和應用：organ是一個多義詞，n. 器官；機構；風琴；管風琴；嗓音；

2.Rachel: (on phone) Daddy, I just... I can't marry him! I'm sorry. I just don't love him. Well, it matters to me!

譯文：爸，我不能嫁給他…對不起，我隻是不愛他。但是，這和我相關。

解析和應用：這裏目測Rachel的father最後一句話應該是，It doesn’t matter to me, 所以Rachel反駁道 it matters to me!

4.Joey: I say push her down the stairs.

譯文：我建議推她下樓。

解析和應用：這裏可以注意say的用法，表達自己觀點的時候就可以這樣說。另外就是推下樓的說法，可以說：He pushed his sister down the stairs.

5.Rachel: It's like, it's like, all of my life, everyone has always told me, , 'You're a shoe!

譯文：我這一生中，大家都告訴我：你是一隻鞋

解析和應用：表達從小到大爸媽都教育我好好學習可以說：All of my life, my parents have always told me, 'You must study hard! '

6.It's a metaphor, Daddy!

譯文：爸，這是一種比喻！

解析和應用：學個新單詞 metaphor n. 暗喻，隱喻；比喻說法

7.Monica: Well, I guess we've established who's staying here with Monica...

譯文：我想我們已確定好誰要和莫妮卡住在這兒

解析和應用：establish v. 建立，創立；確立；獲得接受；查實，證實 。 可以用來表達確定的意思，也有建立的意思，如 I’ve established a great relationship with him.

8.Time Lapse 時間流逝，Lapse n. 失效；流逝；過失

9.Just try to think of nice calm things

譯文：試著去想寧靜美好的事物

解析和應用：calm我們常用來形容人冷靜，平靜。也可以用來形容事物，如The lake is calm, the water is not moving. 湖麵平靜，水靜止不動

10.Monica: this is probably for the best, y'know?

譯文：或許這樣最好

解析和應用：for the best, 是最好的（安排）。工作的時候發現一個方法很好用，就可以說：It turned out to be for the best.

11.Joey: Me and Chandler live across the hall. And he's away a lot.

譯文：我和錢德勒就住在對麵，而且他經常不在家。

解析和應用：表達一個人經常不在家，he’s away a lot.

12.Monica: Joey, stop hitting on her! It's her wedding day!

譯文：Joey, 不要撩她了，今天是她結婚的日子。

解析和應用： 如果你男朋友發現有人在撩你，他可能就會說：You can not hit on her any more.

13.Joey: What, like there's a rule or something?

譯文：什麽？有規定不能嗎？

解析和應用：當你反駁別人禁止你做某事的時候就可以說，Is there a rule or something?

14.Buzz him in! 讓他進來！

15.Chandler: Ooh, this is a Dear Diary moment.

譯文：真是個可以載入日記的時刻

解析和應用：老外寫日記的第一句經常會是，dear diary. 所以這裏Chandler很幽默地表達這是Monica非常激動的時刻。我們平時也可以用，比如說獲獎了，就可以說，That is really a dear diary moment.

16.Chandler: I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name.

譯文：抱歉，我沒聽清楚你名字。

解析和應用：沒有聽清楚別人說的話，就可以說 I didn’t catch what you just said.

17.Monica: My brother's going through that right now, he's such a mess. How did you get through it?

譯文：我哥正承受著這種痛苦，他一團糟糕。你是怎麽熬過來的？

解析和應用：such a mess, 形容狀態很糟糕。Get through, 挺過來，熬過來。

18.Paul: Ooh, steer clear of you.

譯文：那我可得離你遠點（玩笑話）

解析和應用：steer clear of 得遠遠的，如說離吸煙的人遠一點就可以說，Steer clear of the smokers.

19.Paul: Ever since she walked out on me, I, uh...

譯文：自從她離開我以後，我

解析和應用：walk out on somebody 甩掉某人

（有很多場景感覺沒什麽可講的。。對照台詞看下吧，多注意一些生詞）

20.Rachel: Are you kidding? I'm trained for nothing! I was laughed out of twelve interviews today.

譯文：開玩笑？ 我什麽都不會！今天的十二個麵試全泡湯了。

解釋和應用：兩個表達方式。

第一、 be trained for nothing - 什麽都不會，不學無術。讀書的時候班上總有幾個後進生被老師罵成 be trained for nothing。

第二、be laughed out of 表現太差，太出醜，被笑話

21.Chandler: Did you make it, or are you just serving it?

譯文：你煮的還隻是端過來而已？

解析和應用：make coffee 是自己做，serve coffee就隻是提供服務。
