      【小鷹飛走了】

兩個空巢人

淩晨兩點 俯身

電腦屏幕前 實時跟蹤

一架航班 越洋飛行

看它緩緩著陸，像看一隻小鷹

完成首次單飛

 

長長呼出一口氣

 

十八年前

他們把他帶到這個世界上

跟蹤從此開始，直到

心髒停止跳動

     An Eaglet Flies Away

Two empty nesters

At 2am in the morning, leaning over 

A computer screen, tracking

A transoceanic flight in real time，

Watch it slowly land, like an eaglet

Lands its first solo flight,

They exhale a long deep breath

 

Eighteen years ago

They brought him into this world

Tracking started from then on, until

hearts stop beating

帶你去銀行開戶 拿到扣帳卡

去提款機第一次嚐試了提款

在鞋店測量腳的大小 買了舒適的皮鞋, 以及

修甲盒 旅行適配器 防偷錢夾

 

盡管媽媽為你準備的非常齊全

盡管你去的是世界上最迷人的城市

盡管你將走在色彩斑斕的香榭麗舍大道

盡管你是個心智聰穎的小夥子, 可是

 

你仍然會感到不自在 陌生 不安

有時 心會絲絲作痛 想家

你可能會丟失一些東西 或者犯一些錯誤

Hakuna Matata, 親愛的

這些都是最有可能經曆的 “成長痛”

 

就像現在 爸爸媽媽也在經曆它 ——

仿佛懸崖上的一對老鷹，第一次

看著他們的小鷹開始單飛，屏住呼吸

努力忍住 想要俯衝下去 陪伴你的衝動

 

Hakuna Matata, 

我們靜心等待 圓滿飛回的 

一個羽翼豐滿 嶄新的你

Took you to the bank to open an account and get a debit card

You tried withdrawing money at an ATM for the first time

Your feet measured at a shoe store to buy a comfortable leather shoes

Also bought a manicure case, a travel adapter, and anti-theft wallet

 

Although your mother has prepared everything for you

You are going to the most fascinating city in the world

You will walk on the colorful Avenue des Champs-Élysées, and 

You are a very bright young man, still 

 

You will feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and uneasy

Your heart aches, sometimes, feel homesick 

You might lose something, or make some mistakes

Hakuna Matata, sweetheart 

These are the "growing pains" you are most likely to experience

 

Like right now, Mom and Dad are going through it ——

Like a pair of eagles on a cliff, for the first time 

Watch their eaglet starts to fly solo, holding their breath

Try to hold back their impulses to dive down and accompany you

 

Hakuna Matata,

We quietly wait for your successful fly back

As a full-fledged, brand new you
