         【庭院之王】

我有足夠的腦力和體力 來

誘捕日本甲蟲

用BB槍驅趕兔子

給莓子套上網以防鳥兒們偷吃，這樣

我便可以種植鳶尾花 百合花 和玫瑰了

 

我開車去自己的陷阱

朝九晚五，一年360天 天天如此

我繳納稅費 適應各種製度 機構 奔波於

工作、婚姻、孩子間，辛勤如蟻，這樣

 

我的下一代便有足夠的錢

買大房子住 像我一樣對付

日本甲蟲、兔子，和鳥， 這樣

他們便可以種植鳶尾花、百合花，和玫瑰了

 

人們說 我是庭院之王

      【King of the Yard 】

I have plenty brainpower and strength to 

Trap Japanese beetles

Drive away rabbits with BB guns 

Net berries to keep from birds, so that

I can grow irises, lilies, and roses 

 

I drive to the trap of my own

Nine to five, 360 days a year

I pay taxes and dues 

Adapt to the systems, institutions of 

Job, marriage, children, hardworking as an ant, so that

 

My next generation has the money 

To buy a big house, dealing with 

Japanese beetles, rabbits, and birds, just like me，

So that they can grow irises, lilies, and roses 

 

People say 

I am King of the Yard
