I watched this episode twice and learned some phrases. It is very helpful! 

1. 為某人開生日party 怎麽說？

Before I watched this episode, I would say, "Would you hold a birthday party for Monica?" Now, I'm going to say "Would you throw a birthday party for Monica?"

Throw a party: (idiomatic) To organize and execute a party.

 

Next, to say a whole city 停電了.  What would you say?

Please choose one:

a. The whole city is blackout. 

b. The whole city is black out.

c. The whole city is blacked out.

d. The whole city is blackened out. 

 

Third， How to say 什麽時候來電？

I just learned it today，

“ I don't know when it's coming back on. ”
