寫了一篇小說。第一部分。

It is a rainy day.

It is pouring out rain outside, and the forecast said that it will continue raining all day.

I had a ride with my friend in the remote north.

We were driving through the dark countryside, and it was very depressing.

The conversation is on and off between us.

I turned around and looked at her straight in the eyes, expecting to see that same spirit I used to see.

But in the contrary, what I got is her absented mind

The last time we had the same conversation,she said she was going to get married.This time, she said she is fighting depression.

Nowadays, I prefer to take my time and enjoy the moment for what it is.

The purpose of this road trip is to reconnect with her, but what I learn from this trip is that life is too short to spend it with someone who you do not even love anymore.

Our brief past started when we were in college five years ago. She joined the group that I hung out with back then, and we became good friends. We grew close very fast and spent almost every day together.
