春望

國破山河在, 城春草木深。
感時花濺淚, 恨別鳥驚心。
烽火連三月, 家書抵萬金。
白頭搔更短, 渾欲不勝簪。
Spring View
The country is lost but its rivers and mountains remain,
The city is greeting spring but with weeds it's overgrown。
Seeing flowers only makes me cry for the country's state，
Hearing birds startles me as family separation I bemoan。
The raging fires of war into the fourth month are headed，
Letters from loved ones are worth their weight in gold。
So worried I can't help but keep scratching my head，
I have lost so much hair thereby it can't a hairpin hold。
