【英文什錦菜 】Love letters&Love song

 

"Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world." This is what I looked up from Wikipedia about "Valentine's Day".

Nowadays this special holiday is mostly associated with roses,chocalates and heart-shaped gifts,as well as love letters. Talking about love letters,I remember the first love letter I received when I was just seventeen. In the letter it was a poem and I didn't know whom the author is. I do remember one sentence in the poem which I couldn't translate it precisely(啊，如果我不能愛你，就讓我生不如死！). The letter annoyed me a lot because all the other roomates in my dormitory laughed at me and gossiped. At last,I tore the letter into pieces. Not long after that,I received another two letters from another classmate. OMG,what the hell!
