再來一組工作中聽到或見到的English idioms and common phrases

工作中常常會聽到或看到一些English idioms and common phrases. 我把它們總結了一下，在這裏貼一部分：

•sell someone short 沒有足夠地指出一個人的好的品質, 優點等

•roll one's eyes 翻白眼

•off the charts 爆表, 超乎尋常

•bring out the big guns 用最厲害最有威力的武器或工具, 或是用最能幹的人

•behind the scenes 幕後

•rewind the clock 時間倒流

•wax and wane 消長不定, 時漲時跌

•red herring 誤導人的線索

•bark up the wrong tree 誤入歧途或搞錯行動方向

•bite off more than one can chew 做一些對一個人來說太難的事情

•compare apples and/to/with oranges 比較兩個被認為差異很大的東西

•double/triple whammy 兩個或三個不愉快或困難的情況同時發生或相繼發生
