6 月 4 日晚上
一個年青人
一個小男孩的父親
身上還有他的學生朋友血腥味
被迫跑遠
穿過嚴密的搜捕網
留在在他手裏幹糧己不多了
那是妻子出門時準備的。

在鎮壓的夜晚
警察到處追殺他
日夜躲藏
僅有找到一條向北的路
從北京或天津
前往俄羅斯方向
然後迷失在樹林中

北部邊境的農民
在一個明亮的星空下
救了半死的他
活過來後
裝進箱裏
漂洋過海
直到美國。

在鎮壓的夜晚
一個很亮的聲音
一個孤獨的曾學習美國民主的戰士
留在首都
無法拯救他的朋友
無法繼續他們的事業。
在入獄多年後
英年早逝
一個淚崩的妻子留在床邊
一把空椅在陰暗的房間。

Through labyrinth of fugitive
In his hands
A little bit of dry foods
That his wife prepared
months ago.

In the nights of suppression
The polices chased him around
Hiding each day and night
Only to find a path due north
from Beijing or Tianjin
En routed to Russia then lost in woods
A farmer at the northern border
Saved him half-dead in a starry night
After a full resurrection in farmer home
Due south and
Hided in a smaller container when crossing sea
He reached the other shore of Pacific.

In the nights of suppression
There was a loud voice
A returnee from NYC
Not far from Statue of Liberty
An idea fighter who stayed
in the capital
Unable to save all his friends and the causes.
He died too early after being imprisoned
A tearful wife left by the bedside
In the same dark room
There was an empty chair.

On July 4th of years later
The fugitive father was here
Not far from statue of Liberty
Reunited with his son.

These years
People still remember
People are still looking for answers

Under the sun
There are still pains of empty chairs
There are still tears from dead students mothers.
