民主黨在位，they will try to keep unemployment rate low at the

expense of high inflation since these two goals (low inflation and low unemployment rate) are hard to achieve at the same time; 共和黨當政，會反過來，they will try to keep inflation low at the cost of higher unemployment rate, 他們覺得高失業率是公平競爭的自然結果。。。This is the so called "trade off theory".

 

現在這些都是短期的，看了一下指標，經濟蕭條機率目前還是低的
