太陽 從來不必說服世界
它發出的光 最明亮
也無需宣告
它被萬物所需
百花之首的牡丹
即使沒有風的傳播
也會靜靜地綻放
散發幽香
唯有缺陷不安的事物
嘈嚷著 急切向人們展示
一粒塵沙在風中的亮度
並且 脅迫鸚鵡稱之為
太陽，太陽，太陽

The Sun never has to convince the world
The light it emits is the brightest.
Neither does it need to declare,
All living things on earth depend on it
Roses as the first of hundreds of flowers
Would still bloom quietly,
Give off a delicate fragrance,
Even without the spread of wind
Only things that are flawed and insecure,
Eager to show people, in a clamor,
The brightness of a grain of dust in the wind,
And moreover, coerce the parrots to call it:
The Sun, the Sun, the Sun

An empty chair
Alone
Waiting in a wilderness
On the other side of the mountain
Waves of people
Chanting the preach in one voice
Overwhelming the beckoning of freedom
And the empty chair
Staying with hope
Till the wilderness becomes an ocean
Covered by snow-white lotus
A tribute to Xiaobo Liu, a dissident who fought for democracy in the Communist China and died of liver cancer while serving his jail time. An empty chair was staged at the award ceremony when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
