【笑鬧美壇】JP vs GP 差之毫厘 失之千裏

Just dropping in to say Hello

 

The first funny thing that came to mind was something a JP (justice of peace) that I knew once told me, when he was witnessing documents in a heavily migrant area, an Asian looking woman that hardly spoke a word of English handed him what clearly looked like an urine sample of hers... It turned out that the poor woman mistook him as a GP (General Practitioner), needless to say the similar pronunciation of JP and GP was the cause of the embarrassment.
