I have always loved to be surrounded by beautiful things. As a child, I was very particular about colour. I loved unusual hues and shapes, and I was happy not to follow current trends and peer pressure. Growing up, age and many trips to Europe refined my aesthetic, also uncovering my unwavering love for France. The discovery of small intricacies and elegance of vintage tableware gradually led to my joy of table setting.
Whether it’s a dining room, a patch of lawn shaded by an overhanging tree, or along a sandy stretch of beach, to me, table setting is my creative play (maybe not your typical hobby, but something I enjoy doing, on any occasion) - and it’s even more fun to dress up to coordinate with the general colour scheme! It doesn’t just have to be decorating everything with dainty flowers, I also love to utilise foliage to embellish a table and set the mood as well.
Below are the photos of some of my table settings.
