My new year‘s resolution of 2021 is to complete New English 900 with the pattern as following:
For each sentence, the first time I read by myself without any reference, and then I play the original one, finally I read it again with the Echo method posted by yingyudidida. https://bbs.wenxuecity.com/mysj/218492.html
I just did it once 3 days ago. https://bbs.wenxuecity.com/mysj/221228.html
To be honest, I feel it is very helpful. By comparison, I notice that I need have some pauses in between the sense-groups. I should pay more attention to the long vowel such as /ai/sound in "decide". It helps me correcting my pronunciation. On top of it, thanks to 花董 for letting me know my /e/ as in ‘yet’ and /s/ as in restaurant’s pronunciation. And thanks 蟲蟲’s suggestion on reading multi-syllable words. Thanks to everyone's encouragement.
I wish friends in MYSJ try this way, not necessarily New English 900, in your official language (American English or British English). You may like it.:)

Starry, starry night, Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day, With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills, Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills, In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand, What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity, How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they did not know how, Perhaps they'll listen now
