Not Without My Daughter

Did you see the news about a top Iranian nuclear scientist who was assassinated near Tehran? Many guessed Israel is the one who behind the assassination.
 

It’s a very complicated issue and it's hard for me to comment on it. The news reminded me of a movie I saw before: Not Without My Daughter.

The movie was based on a true story.  American women Betty agreed to leave the U.S. with her Iranian husband and their daughter to visit his family in Tehran. She thought it was for a short visit, but when they arrived, Betty realized he was never going to let her and her daughter return to America.

This is an incredible true story which truly demonstrated the extreme conditions of the Islamic state Iran during the 80s. I highly recommend this movie to you, especially if you are a mom. It's very powerful!
