比如說play hoops – play basketball; 打籃球
- be動詞 + being + 形容詞 / be動詞 + 形容詞
be動詞 + being + 形容詞: 句型是指某人隻是在此刻是那樣子的（並非常態）； (is/am/are) 剛剛或過去的某一刻(was/were); 這樣說有強烈的感情色彩；
比如剛剛朋友心情不好而說了些傻話，我們就可以說：You are being silly.
有人對我們說了不禮貌的話或做了冒犯的舉動
可以說：You are being rude! (你很沒禮貌！)

Be supposed to / should 的區別
Be supposed to – 是個被動形式，就是被期望，負有…責任；
Should – 更多表示主觀上覺得應該做什麽什麽；
比如I am not feeling well, I should see a doctor.
- Break – /breik/ v. stop functioning; 壞掉, 出故障
My computer finally broke.
- Sharp – here it means (time) precisely ；exactly at the stated time (時刻)…正好，準時地；
The performance will start at 7.30 sharp. 演出將於7：30準時開始。
- chicken out - to decide at the last moment not to do sth. because you are too frightened； 臨陣脫逃；因害怕而）退縮，放棄；比喻計劃好要做某事，但是到最後一分鍾卻退縮了。
chicken out on sb. – ( Inf.) to decide not to do sth. for or with sb.. 慫了，因為害怕，決定不為誰做什麽事情, 或者不和別人一起幹什麽
Jason chickened out on us and won't be going with us.
Jason害怕了，不跟我們去了。
- bail on sb./sth. - to leave, abandon sb./sth.（俚語 ）拋棄,放棄
She bailed on me after all we had been through together. 我們在一起經曆了所有這些事後， 她竟然拋棄了我。
** 跟我們剛剛說的Chicken out不一樣的，Chicken out放棄的主因是膽怯， Bail on沒有限製。
