I have had a hard time with this sound too a few years back. It should be somewhere between the 餓 and 烏 sounds. Among all the pronunciation lectures online, Jennifer's vowel series was the most helpful for me. The "oo" sound that you are looking for is in the Back Vowel clip (lesson 3), and the links to all the clips are pasted below. Wish they help.
