【周末電影】the Painted Veil 麵紗

美語壇周末電影院weekend movie~~ the Painted Veil 麵紗 《麵紗》（The Painted Veil）是2006年出品的一部美國電影。該片由約翰·卡蘭導演，男女主演分別為愛德華·諾頓和娜奧米·沃茨，同時黃秋生、夏雨和模特呂燕也在片中出演角色。影片根據英國作家威廉·毛姆的同名小說改編，講述1920年代英國細菌學家沃特·費恩醫生（Dr. Walter Fane）與妻子基蒂·費恩（Kitty Fane）來到中國的故事。 20年代的倫敦，虛榮女子Kitty （娜奧米飾演）為了逃避浮華的上流社會，甘願選擇一段沒有愛情的婚姻，與細菌學家Walter（愛德華·諾頓飾演）結婚並移居上海。後來Kitty因寂寞而搭上英國外交官，令Walter決定舉家搬到霍亂肆虐的農鄉，在當地行醫，作為對她的懲罰。每天與死亡和絕望擦身而過，夫妻倆卻發現了另一片天地，在遙遠的異鄉第一次走近對方，隻是一切來得太遲…… 相關鏈接 請看另一部Edward Norton 主演電影 魔幻至尊the Illusionist 歡迎點擊看美語壇一年電影 製帖：京燕花園
