A very expensive toy! 

China should have spent this money for the wellness of the Chinese people, rather than showing off in this way.

It is not a great excitement either, since USA and Russia did so 50 years ago.  

There are no significant challenges in terms of material science, control techniques and rocket techniques, etc.
