This reminds me of a story

The problem does not lie in the phrases themselves, but in how you put them together. This reminds me of a story:

An American stands by a roadside watching the street view, and a Chines approaches.

Chinese: What is your name?
               What are you doing here?
               Can you follow me?

Nothing is wrong with each sentence here, but the way the Chinese put them together is not right.
