Well written, but a few unconventional usages. "North America" is used more than "Northern America". In the beginning you said that Denali is the best in the world but quickly changed that to the best place in the state (of Alasaka).
"Plenty of opportunities".
"Pristine geography" is used more than 3 times. I'm also not sure if this is a valid combination. I've read "pristine" used with land, soil, forest, water, lake, etc., which are tangible objects. I don't think "geography", a more conceptual identity, can be "pristine".
