一不小心

P.S。

We had a bad weather again today.  The whole day was about  howling winds and swerving snow.  It started to snow in the early morning, so everywhere was covered in 40cm of snow by the evening. Because of the house location, our side door was entirely buried by heavy and wet snow.  Later on,working desperately for 2 hours we dug out the driveway and the side door.  Because of the bad weather, my friend called me this morning to cancel the movie. After all,  it is not worth risking our life, she said.  Tired, so I had a long nap this evening after shoveling.  When I woke up to a phone ring  the clock on the wall read 8.  Since the daylight is short these days,  it was dark outside,  so in the first 2 seconds  after I woke up I was not sure if it was evening or morning.
