I have a funny question

My friend called me this morning wondering if I by accident took her six snowman coasters which her brother gave her as a present. I said let me check. She invited me to her house for breakfast on Christmas morning and she gave me a lot of gifts.They are a pair of slippers and gloves knitted by herself, a pack of notebook, two towels, a nice sweater...and so on. At the beginning of the conversation over the phone she said "I have a funny question" I guess she meant an embarrasing, uncomfortable question, not a normal question, because things like this doesn't happen often.

By the way, my friend is good at knitting because she took a home economics course in high school long time ago. I am not good at knitting, because my older sister who is good at tailoring  took good care of me when I was small,that she knitted me sweaters and gloves and everything. I feel ashamed of myself now because it seems that today everybody is good at knitting including guys like them:
