It is interesting to read your post. and it is amazing that you always have so much to write about. I wander how long it took you to finish writing it. It even takes me a long time to write something with 200 words.
It is true that we are inclined to compare American with China, despite the fact that most of time the comparison always results in our ambivalence toward either country, and often times we are torn apart by opposite emotions. America has shifted dramatically since its first day of decelerating of independence, it is said that "men " in the famous phrase "All men are created equal" only refer to "white men" at the time when the Declaration of Independence were established. However, nowadays everyone or every group can use the phrase as sharp weapon to fight against social or racial injustice in various contexts, thanks to the civil right movements and women's right movement in the 1960's.It's nice that you are so optimistic about America. Maybe in the near future, we will see a person with Chinese blood become an elected president in this country.
