【文青跑誌】7th Week Training Log

 

Monday: 5K on treadmill: 36:26

Wednesday: 5k on treadmill 36:49

Saturday: 9miles on rubber track: 1:48:58

 

At Toastmasters meetings, when the timer gives the report, normally, he/she says: I am happy to report that both speakers qualify.  But this past Wednesday at our meeting, the timer reported: I am UNhappy to report that neither speaker qualified. Similarly, I have to say this to BMDN:  I am unhappy to report that my running in the past week didn’t qualify, as I only run 15 miles instead of 20 as you requested.

 

But I am happy to report that I did make some good progress in my reading. I finally finished reading Steve Jobs, which I started about two months ago, but stalled later due to various work/family-related obligations. This past week, I finished the last 100 pages or so of Steve Jobs, as well as Ethan Frome.   I have some thoughts on both books, but this weekend is a little bit crazy as my daughter’s birthday is coming up. I will try to write up something next week.
