I have to fully agree. It is the 'emulation' that made the difference. Your point, Wenqing's observation, and my own feelings corroborated (not sure if I used this word properly here) one another. When recording the clip from Pearl Harbor (as Wenqing mentioned), I was simply talking; With this one, I was trying very hard to mimick the actress, or I was trying to 'act'.

The delima here is that there is a conflict of interest in such a situation. If I 'talk', the effect is normally better but I can identify very few of my problems. If I 'mimick', it usually exposes lots of my own weaknesses and mistakes so that by fixing them I can improve, though the work presented to net friends doesn't sound so good.

I just did a little thinking and here is what I'm going to do: I'll redo this clip when I feel I have fixed all the exposed problems, in a talking tone instead. Hopefully I will get it done before the end of the year.
