都是平常言語

All but extraordinary words,
偶然碰著個詩人

When accidentally slip under the pen of a poet,
變幻出多少新奇詩句
Metamorphose into many wonderful poems.

醉過才知酒濃

He, only after being drunk for once, realizes how strong the wine is;
愛過才知情重 ——

He, only after being infatuated for once, understands what love means.
你不能做我的詩

You can’t write my poems,
正如我不能做你的夢

The same way, I can’t dream your dreams.
