But Chinese government helped us a lot in this case. The Vietnamese government expelled we Chinese out of that country before the war bursted out.Many Chinese people had nowhere to go and the Chinese government accepted us and helped us(refugees) to settle down after we arrived in China. The Chinese government never recognizes our status as overseas Chinese so we were registered with no nationalities, i.e, we were not Chinese nor Vietnamese, we were just recognized as international refugees, pretty embarrassing. However, we have always claimed that we are Chinese origins, and this is the fact. I have been a refugee for years before I became Canadian. Thank you again for being in my side. I think you are so cool, you are my hero! :))
