BOB DOUGHTY: This is SCIENCE IN THE NEWS, in VOA Special English. I’m Bob Doughty.
FAITH LAPIDUS: And I’m Faith Lapidus. This week, we tell about(可連讀) vitamins.

BOB DOUGHTY: Many jobs(嘴巴可張大一點,發成類似偏/啊/的音更美味) must be done with two people. One person takes the lead. The other helps. It is this cooperation(似乎miss了一個o音,我也犯了同樣的錯誤) that brings success.
So it is with the human body. Much of(應該是v的音,不是f的音) our good health depends on the cooperation between substances. When they work together, chemical reactions take place smoothly. Body systems are kept in balance.
Some of the most important helpers in the job of good health are the substances(重音在第一音階,由midnightblue指出的) we call vitamins.
