Forget China. You better write something you are familiar with. Ok, we met in your university/college in your time frame: I could be your neighbour/classmate/Chinese language tutor (I doubt I can help you with Chinese. Where did you learn Chinese?)/roommate/friend’s friend/someone you met in Chinese grocery. We could be lovers/friends/enemies/or someone you were simply observing. Don’t worry about me because I have nothing to lose. I don’t mind if you portrait me as someone pathetic, despicable, mischievous or obnoxious.
