最近學習了湘西山民的七律其一，試著翻譯：
Compelling is the desolate and vast Yungmeng waters. Standing is the million years old painted building, the Yueyang Tower. Nesting are the gulls getting ready to enjoy the late evening. Flying high are a flock of geese sending goodbye messages to the early fall. Seeing all these sceneries I couldn’t help conjuring up that on the Yueyang tower, leaning against the railing is the poet Du Fu, who is speculating on the state affairs. And the one who is drinking and writing is the patriot Quyuan working on the Sorrow at Parting. But wait a minute, where are the Er Huang and Nu Ying, the daughters of Yao? I couldn’t see them at all. The only thing I could see is that the vast Xiang River’s water still flowing endlessly like always. 翻譯-- 思博
