 The earthquake shattered the Mediaeval Center at L’Aquila, razing the surrounding villages; the area of L’Aquila in the northeastern Rome appears like a battlefield.

動詞用的是不錯,但razing的分詞形式不太好,應和shattered並列, 用過去時razed. 還有今天的"羅馬東北的拉奎拉地區"都翻的不順.
