兩個以上的爆破音在一起時，隻有最後的爆破音發出聲音來；前麵的爆破音隻做發音動作，不發出聲音來，但要給其留出其發音時間來（要想像著它們的存在）。
爆破音後麵跟著鼻音，破擦音，摩擦音時，爆破音也失去爆破。
爆破音：plosives (p， b， t， d， k， g ).
鼻音：nasal (m, n),
破擦音： affricate (tch, dg, tr, dr), （(tch: chair; dg: bridge)
摩擦音：fricative (f, v; th, th; s, z; sh, r). （th：thank / th: those / sh: ship）
爆破音後麵跟的是摩擦音時，失去爆破的程度輕一些。
