Jessica在北京學漢語，她的中國朋友要是遇到了不知道用美語怎麽說的詞，就會來請教她。今天是方方要問的：修身。

Jessica: Fangfang, You look different! Did you lose weight?

FF: 才沒有呢! 是這件衣服好，穿上顯瘦，特修身!

Jessica: 修身養性？也能讓人顯瘦？

FF: 不是那個修身，是修飾身材. The clothes make me look slim.

Jessica: I see. You can say the clothes are figure flattering. "flattering" is spelled f-l-a-t-t-e-r-i-n-g.

FF: figure是身材，flatter是恭維，兩個詞放在一起，figure flattering，身材顯得更好，也就是修身!

Jessica: Right! For example, A lot of women find black to be a figure flattering color.

FF: 對! 黑色特修身。不過，要想嚐試各種風格的打扮，不能光靠衣服，還得身材好。瘦才是王道!

FF: 可不是麽! 我這幾天頭暈眼花，就是因為吃太少。Jessica, 待會兒咱們去吃烤鴨吧!

Jessica: 你不減肥啦？

FF: 就一頓嘛，放縱一下!
