I see another issue here.

According to what you said, the previous will is very likely a joint/mutual will, accompanying with an agreement/contract, if drafted and executeed correctly. If that's the case, your grandpa should not have revoked it as it is a joint/mutual will and should be taken as it is after one of the parties deseased. But I wouldn't know for sure until seeing all the documents.
