For my case, the cop car was directly behind me (in the night I could see him otherwise I would have stopped for longer time to make sure he see me stopped).
OK. in the court, I was the defendant, attorney for myself and witness for myself. During the cross examination I questioned the cop in capacity of my own attorney. I asked the cop if he saw my brake lights on? Yes. You saw me slow to? Yes. You saw me fully stopped before accelerated? No. Then what is the slowest speed I was going b4 accel? about 5 mph? Did you have any meter you used to determine my speed of 5 mph? No. So you determined my slowest was 5 by subjectively judgment? The cop didn't want to say yes so he prevaricated. I asked the judge: Your honor can you make the witness say Yes or No. The cop said Yes.
So far I got: the cop saw me brake and slow down but the slowest speed was 5 by his subjective judgment.
