罰款 3000 - 隻應為 craigslist 上的廣告用詞不當！

大家好，有個問題請教：今年年初我在回亞洲之前在 craigslist 上出租我的 condo. 不久前有 自稱是 HUD 的官員 email 給我說 我posted 的租房廣告裏有'隻租女性或年輕 professional '的字眼，而違反了 fair housing act 法規。因為我人在國外，所以 email 來去和 HUD 的官員聯係。 他今天說要罰款 3000 美金（詳見email). 試問有沒有朋友遇到同樣的問題？處理辦法？懇請懂法律的朋友的建議？

from any further housing discrimination when it comes to advertising properties for rent and; ___

2.) Respondent agrees to pay monetary damages in the amount of $3,000.00 via cashiers check_(or money order)

AND THAT THE CASE WILL BE ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
I DECLARE UNDER PENALTY THAT THE SAME IS TRUE AND CORRECT.”

Can you agree to these terms and promptly pay the monetary portion?_:mad:
