今天我托了朋友打了電話，現在已經確定是 HUD 政府工作人員， 這是最新的一封email:

Mr. xxx - I do not represent you nor do I represent the Complainants. I
can tell you that several others who violated this law, with the same
"simple mistake", will be going to an administrative law hearing or U.S.
Federal Court and the time will be determined by the Judge. My interest
is to watch out for the Public good.

I took you at your word and presented that to Respondent's attorney. He
agreed to make this a "withdrawal w/settlement" assuming you came to
terms quickly, as opposed to a conciliation agreement that has more
stringent and tough oversight language that may have U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) involved for a greater period of
time. If you choose not to take the "withdrawal" (or a conciliation)
then I will be glad to continue the investigation.

I act as an intermediary unless the Public good is completely
compromised. I conveyed their offer to you . . . if you wish to counter
it with another suggested "withdrawal offer" amount you may do so and I
am obligated to take that to them. However, I need this done,
preferably, today. Also there are no guarantees that they will accept it
or not demand a more stringent conciliation. In either case let me know.


I can put down "withdrawal" and/or conciliation failed and continue a
full investigation that includes all of your known addresses, the rental
property and the contacts/friends that you identify as being your
advertising personages. In any case, you will be accountable since it is
your property being advertised.
