There are many drivers who don't have any insurance. When they get into accidents, the other parties can only curse their own bad luck. The house owner's insurance company has already paid for the damage to the house, now it is contacting your insurance company to cross-claim. If you had enough insurance, your insurance company would fork over the money; if not, the other insurance company would just have to suck up its losses. You should simply refuse to pay. I don't think the other insurance company would still sue you knowing that you have no money. Its legal fees would total more than whatever you owe them. Remember, tell them you have no money and you refuse to pay. No one will bother you again.
