加州Tenamts' amd landlord's rights and regulations 中間列有11項有關房東unlawful conduct，但是其中並不包括您所麵對的問題。基本上房東是照著您正式的通知來處理， 如果您拒絕不合作，您的房東是有權向法院提出"unlawful detainer lawsuit"進入eviction process,通常從提出訴訟到您收到通知後，您有五天的時間回應，然後法院會在15到20天之內開庭處理您們的訴訟,如果法官認定您沒有道理，您必須在法官判決確定之後，您的房東可以要求州警協助強製搬遷，一般的情況您會收到一份通知 (copy of the writ of prossession),您有五天的時間搬出，(老實說如果您真的一步一步跟著對方的法律程序走，您大概可以撐到六月中左右)，但是您需要負擔對方法律訴訟的費用與額外的房租，老實說，如果老貓是您，老貓會與對方好好商量，畢竟出門在外應該與人為善，給對方方便也就是給自己方便。
