So much thanks for your reply. My own car insurance limit is up to $50,000. The Hertz rental liability is up to $1,000,000. My lawyer told me that this case may be over the $50,000 which my own car insurance company is ready to provide. The worst thing is Hertz doesn't want to pay the liability we purchased. If they agree to pay, I will have no worries.
About the injuries, four of us returned to normal life very soon except that person suing me. He continually claimed his eyes received injuries and I believe with the help of his lawyer, he already made a very "good " medical records now using to prove his injuries.
The reality is very easy to be hided in this case. I don't know what to do to protect myself from further trouble.
