would you mind to help me how to argue with lawyer to reduce the

Hi, everyone, I think I got cheated by lawyers.
here is the story.

I have some problems I need lawyer's help. my friend said he know a lawyer and the lawyer is not praticing this area my case involved in, but my friend said he must know someone who is good at my case. then this lawyer A send email to my friend said I need to fax my document to him that he could forward to the right direct and he said he should be able find a good one within the firm. because they are national firm, and he did find lawyer B from another branch office.
Before I let lawyer B take care of this, I asked how much it will cost, he said it will be $1000. I think it is reasonable.and I never think about I need to ask lawyer A, because I think he is not praticing this area and shouldn't involved in this case at all.

but after I got the bill, it came from Lawyer A's office, both of them charged a huge amount, Lawyer A's bill is almost $1400 and LawyerB's bill almost $2400. the total bill is almost 4 times as much as the it should be.

What shall I do? How can I argue with them? I only want to pay I serviced for.

If you have any good ideas, please do give me some suggestions. I feel so depressed being cheated like this.
