I am aggressive because the company is violating the ADA. If LZ has adequate medical evidence, she qualifies as disabled (for certain length of time). Her company should provide reasonable accommodation.
Whether working from home is "reasonable" accommodation or not, depends on the facts. I assume her lawyer determined that it is reasonable. You don't get stuff in life without asking for it.
