不需要離婚中工作一方先申請，隻要離婚的工作一方年齡到，非工作的一方就可以申請，SSA 規定:

If your ex-spouse has not applied for retirement benefits, but can qualify for them, you can receive benefits on his or her record if you have been divorced for at least two years.
