I have some clarification on my transaction. Currently, I live with my hu*****and and our primary residence is under his name on the deed. I am buyging a property for myself as a secondary home under my name only. The mortgage company has no issue, but the insurance company insisted that the one I am buying was my primary residence. I don't think it is right and it might cause some problems in future.
Would you be able to give me some guidance?
